Yeast die-off
That may be the reason for my excess bloating and emotional blowup. Those nasty yeasties can really kick the crap out of you, dead or alive. I'm more in control now, of my hormones anyway. I have a radiation hazard sign on my cubicle at work though. Is it rather ironic I work for a gas transmission company? I wonder if I can sell off to them? I swear I have enough methane to power my vehicle all the way to work and back home.
I'm doing the yoyo thing with weight, but as disappointing as that can be I'm still happy with the other changes. Feeling like I was backsliding with my allergies put me into a tailspin and then seeing the scale go up was the proverbial last straw.
I added lobster to my diet last night. It was wonderful! I was supposed to wait but I really don't like fish, and I've eaten fish once or twice a day for three weeks. Beans and nuts hate me, so I had nothing left. I need to add seafood back in so I can at least have a little choice in protein. Sole, cod, and wild salmon are getting very boring. I can hardly wait to introduce crab this weekend! <thanks all that's holy she didn't test positive for anti-bodies on seafood!> And considering I lived on it exclusively for a week about 2 weeks before I tested... I should be good!
