Food Amounts

Hi All,
First post here so I apologize if this is a remedial question. I have not yet started the diet (next week) but I'm wondering about how much food to eat. I saw the sample meal plans in the book but I can't believe that my wife and should eat the same amount of food during the day. I'm 6'4" 260 and she's 5'3, 130.
Since you don't count calories how do you determine how much to eat? Do you just eat when hungry?

Hi,
I personally eat as much as I want. Actually I try to eat slowly so that I don't overeat /you know between the time you are full and the brain receives and re-sends this message is about 20 minutes, enough to get s much food, not needed/. I just don't prepare big portions. When I finish what I have prepared and feel I need more, I just prepare additionally. Again it takes time and from the new portion I eat less than I thought I would eat.
And second: every lunch and dinner I serve salads. They give the feeling of fullness.
