I'm on day 5 and running out of my big batch of ultra broth. I really don't feel like making it again for just a day's worth. Is there something I can buy from Whole Foods that would replace it?

Hi, dreemsiren, I applaud

Doing the UltraSimple Diet
Hi, dreemsiren,
I applaud you for making the broth the first time. I didn't even try! I'm on day 6 and have used Pacific Organic Vegetable Broth. It was mentioned in the USD book as a second choice. Making the broth looked so insurmountable that I knew I wouldn't do the diet if I had to do that first! The Pacific broth tastes OK.
How are you doing? Are you planning to do the methodical, slow re-introductiono of food groups? That's my plan, although what I miss most are wheat and dairy and they are the last to go!

Hey Grandma, I just realized

Hey Grandma,
I just realized it was in the book before I read your response. I went out and bought a couple things of the Pacific broth. One ingredient it has in there that we're not supposed to have is tomato. Oh well.... it was the book's suggestion.
So you're on day 6 as well? How's it going for you? How do you feel? How much weight have you lost? I think I've lost about 8 pounds so far. It all started to shed just in the last couple days. It seemed like my body took a while before it realized I wanted it to lose weight. It's been surprisingly easy for me to follow and I feel like we get to eat a lot of food. In the middle of my diet, I've had to travel and half my suit case was packed full of my foods, supplements, and my blender!
I don't know how I plan on coming off the diet. I think I may actually plan to stay on it for another few days to a week. I'd like to continue to lose the weight. How do we keep it off though?
