I have just completed the Ultrametabolism program and wow what a program.  I lost 30 pounds and 5 inches off my waist in the 8 weeks.  My advice is simple, do the program exactly as stated eating exactly the amount recommended and not cheating at all.  I can't stress that enough.  It's only 8 weeks but it can change your life forever.

I do agree completely, but its not just about the weight, I sleep better, energy levels are good, not as sick, my allergies are much better - just generally much much healthier.  I have lost 18 or so pounds and 5" myself which I wasn't really expecting!

Sort the food.   Put the rice together, separate vegetables from chicken, fish.  Makes it easier to find what you need.  The first time the food arrived it was a bit overwhelming.  So many packages.  I put the broth in the freezer, since it was already frozen.  Beware, sometimes the broth packages leak after thawing.   I take the 2 or 3 out for the day into a bowl to defrost.

Follow the provided menu at first and enjoy.   No cooking, no prep.  Heat, eat and enjoy.  You will learn a lot about portion sizes.  I did occasionally make an additional shake, or had some extra nuts etc.  In the beginning I felt the need to eat a bit more.   After the second week I added some dark chocolate - my crutch.

I called the meal line and asked if the food needed to be kept frozen and they said no.  Do you suggest keeping the shakes and the broth frozen?  Also 3 of the containers were broken open.  I couldn't believe the size of the main dishes.  I definitely had no understanding of portion control.  I think I will be hungry on this plan.  I separated my days into very large plastic bags by the day of the week.  One of  the hardest part will be getting up 2 hours before I leave the house on the days I work to get everything in

I kept the broth frozen mainly to free up space in the refrigereator.  I found that I did not use all the broth so being frozen made it last for later use.  I bought extra shakes with one weeks worth of food to last the two holiday weeks.   I did freeze some of those because I would have them longer than 7 - 8 days.

I think after a few days to a week you will find that the food is plenty.  There was one point in the second or third week that I found it hard to eat all of it!

I guess you can get the food delivered in the US?  Nice!  Over here in the UK my wife and I had to clear out the "white menace" and take a visit to the Whole Food store in Kensington High Street London to get all the necessary food.

On the portions / amounts - I have personally never eaten so much food - I struggle to eat the food some days due to the amount, you shouldn't have too much problem here as you constantly feel full through the day.

How do you get the pre-packaged food? I've been following the book over the last 5 days. I would LOVE to get some prepared food!
