I just started Day 1 of the program. I have been taking a supplement combination that was recommended for me and it includes 500mg of Evening Primrose Oil in my daily vitamin pack. Since I'm adding the flax/borage oil (as well as the fish oil and olive oil), is it OK for me to be taking the EPO or will that put me over the amounts of some nutrients I should be getting for the program?
Thanks for your help and advice!

I'd like to know too. Do you need to take fish oils if you are taking flax and evening primrose and olive oil? I feel funny about taking the olive oil. isn't it just added fat? Also, taking the supplements in the morning makes me extemely nauseated.

If someone recommended that you take a vitamin pack with EPO, you should have this practitioner check the total amount of EPO in both products and see if that aligns with their recommendation. EPO is prescribed therapeutically in different dosages for treating different conditions (ex. PMS, Psoriasis, etc) and the ranges often prescribed are from 500 mg - 4 grams/day.

There are different "therapeutic" dosages for EPO with ranges from a total of 500 mg to 2,000 mg per day. With the addition of the flax/borage oil, you would be in this safe range, but it is also very important to reassess this after 3 months.
