Doing the UltraSimple Diet 
Weight: -14 pounds (including -4 during the prep week)
Waist: -3 inches
Hips: -1.5 inches
Toxicity score: -67 (!)
To me the amazing thing about the size loss is that I'm pretty sure my waist & hips were not the place I lost the most. The area across the middle of my abdomen, right below the bottom of my sternum, has deflated like a punctured balloon! I can't be sure because I didn't measure it, but since I lost three inches off my waist, I'll bet I lost closer to six inches off this area higher up.
WOW. No doubt about it, this WORKS for me! My sinuses haven't felt this good in years. My entire digestive system feels better than it has in years as well. I don't know what I was eating that was making me so sick, but I'm sure not anxious to begin eating it again. I am going to be very careful about adding foods back to my diet.
This has been a great beginning, but I still have a long way to go. As of yesterday I am switching to the detox phase of the Ultrametabolism plan. It's a pretty easy transition.

Great job Swampboy. So, you haven't started detox yet? You lost 14lbs in the preparation week? Good for you. Detox will make you feel like lbs are melting away I would imagine. Good luck and keep it up.

No, I just hadn't started the Ultrametabolism version yet.
I did the Ultrasimple Diet last week, which is a little more intensive detox than the three weeks on UM. The detox phase on UM is actually slightly less restrictive - tomatoes and bell peppers are allowed, for example.
But thanks, I feel really good. I am certainly going to continue.

Oh ok. Me too. I just finished week one of detox of the USD with the prepurchased foods (Thursday) and now I'm on my first week of the same, with the same restrictions, but cooking myself. I'm down almost 15lbs. What's your goal / goals?

Ultimately I would like to get down to below 170. I started at 256, and as of Sunday was down to 242, so I still have a long way to go. I've done it before, but this time I would really really like to stay there. That is the difference that I hope this program will achieve.
It's funny, though. I feel so much better after just two weeks, that keeping that feeling is suddenly a much more powerful motivation than just losing weight.
