Hi--I read the UltraSimple diet book. It all makes sense. Like everyone I have a busy schedule and have a hard time preparing the food. So I purchased, 4 weeks of the food. Expensive, but if it works will be well worth it. I have not done any pre-food programs. Done Weight Watchers, know what to eat but my portions are to big. I also know I am an emotional eater. I'm starting the diet Friday. But did not do the pre-diet. Please advise.
Now, that you know a little bit about me. Why don't you tell me about yourselfso we can be support to one another.
Thank you!

Cindycat,
Have you started the food program yet that you purchased? I found it pricey, but then if you want quality you have to pay. So far I am doing OK with cooking myself, as I recently started a new job that allows me more time to be "domestically inclinated", and have the energy that a change in routine can create. However, I will keep the prepared food program in mind should I find that I am slipping.
I had tried Nutrisystem mailed foods and found it unfit for human consumption. I forced myself to finish it as I had paid for it. When 4 weeks of food came in a 18 in x 4 ft box, my joke what that it was packed for my trip to Mars. I haven't done weight watchers but I believe my problem is the same as yours. I know what to do , but portion size is an issue along with chocolate cravings.
I've been on the ultrasimple plan for 7 days and now the cravings are gone. The 1st 2 days I craved pizza and hoagies which is odd as they weren't foods that I would seek out for cravings. I admit however that I didn't prep the week before as the book suggests as it fell on the 4th of July weekend. I'm on track now.
I would like to be your diet buddy if you are interested . I am 50 yrs old and I am a nurse.

Hi Nur-i-Leila,
I am starting day 4. I found that they had the wrong product in my shake for the morning so I need to figure out what to buy for the rest of the week. I called and have been calling with no one anwsering the phone. I do not like that.
I any case I am 46 years young and Kitchen and Bath Designer. I spend a lot of hours 8-6 or 8-8 at work. The boss does not understand that I am not a morning person. I'm hoping to get more energy along with losing 80 lbs. (I am embrassed to say I got to this point, I realize it is from a seditary life style and coming home and crashing on the coach). I still do not have the engery to walk. I did last year and bike.
The system say you to not accept private messages.
Have a fabulous day!

Doing the UltraSimple Diet
I did the meals last November as a way to jump start myself. They are very good. I lost 10 lbs. before Christmas, and have continued on since then and am nearing 30. I had a rough patch in May, but have been back on track for almost a month now and the weight is slowly coming off, and most importantly, I feel better than I have in my entire adult life (reading Ultrametabolism made me realize my thyroid was out of whack). So... be really religious the first week, and you will see your cravings go totally away. It really does work. I have cooked my own stuff since January. It requires PLANNING. You need to sit down and map all your meals out, then cook ahead of time, so when you're hungry the food is there and ready. Good luck
Congratulations on your weight loss!

Butterfly,
What a wonderful transformation. Yes-- it sound like alot of planning and preperation but grabbing a slice of pizza or a wrap is not working for me. The "change" of life is happening, too...
I am looking forward to being free of sugar. I love ice cream and chocolate.
Let's keep each other posted

Butterfly, It's great too hear from someone who has been on it for awhile and is successful. It is a greta motivator as I tend to lose interest too quickly for permanent results. I'be recently ordered the Ultrametabolism pqckage and looking forward to its arrival

Hi. I've been doing the Ultrametabolism for 28 days now. Interestingly, this is the second time around for me and I was not motivated by weight loss as much as I was motivated to help control my blood sugars, reduce inflammation and improve my overall well being. My wife and I got through the detox phase with maybe only one meal that was considered inedible (The Black Bean Soup with Cocoa)...other than this we enjoyed the recipes presented in the book and learned to improvise as we embraced the spirit of the book rather than "go by the book" which many of you already know is not always possible with busy lifestyles. Neither my wife or I weigh ourselves as we've decided this is more of a lifestyle change than it is a journey with an end goal of x amount of pounds lost. I can say we both feel better than we ever have. Our clothes are looser and we are never hungry. My wife's mucous and sinus problems have vanished; my blood sugars are normal (I am a Type II Diabetic) and we both have plenty of energy to lift weights and walk everyday. We re-discovered the power of sleep (no caffeine rushes or crashes) and we rave about The Ultrametabolism Lifestyle to all of our friends and relatives. The other night we went out to a 4 star Restaurant and did without the bread, the carbs and did not miss a thing...my wife had carb-less crab cakes and I had a tenderloin with extra veggies.
Please share your success stories...this is what inspires us...is to read or hear about folks who have improved their health and well being.

Dawg, That's great that you and your wife can do this together. My husband is supportive and will eat some of the meals I make that fit within the regimen, but he wouldn't consider the broth, shakes or supplements.
I started week 3 today and feel healthier because of no longer having the water retwntion and am maintaining effective lymph drainage. That is an incentive to keep on going.
