i'm trying to make the shakes. does anyone have the exact anount or recipe. my recipe seems to be pretty general. I have the ingrediants for rice protein powder, i have 1lb jar it says to use 1 large bottle???????? how much is that, and i have the almond milk 14 cups = approx. 1 gal so you are making a gallon of shake...help want to get started!!!!

I have the ultra metabolism book and cookbook and have downloaded the guide and that is not on page 104 of the book I have. The recipe I have is to make 14 cups for version 3 which i think isn awful lot. Is there another one ? thanks

I find I just wing it for all the shakes.

For the soy I use 1/6 a block of fresh silken tofu with a unmeasured 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/2 bannana, large spoonful of nut butter, 1/2 cup berries or peaches, and blend, if too thick I add water. In up to two shakes a day you can add 2T of groung flax and 1T flax/borage oil. I generally don't really measure any of the ingredients.

For the rice protein powder I use generally 1-2T per shake and add all of the extras above and if I just use nut butter I add a spoonful more instead of soy or powder.

However, the ultrametabolism smoothie receipes are on page 253 and 254 and they are very similar to the USD, but have a little more fruit and don't include the flax seed and oil. The USD recommends adding a banana and nut butter to any of the shakes to improve flavor.
