Trying to rid myself of migraines

Hello to all in the midst of the UMD or UWD,

I am just finishing Week 3 of UMD. I did prep. week and 2 weeks of detox diet so far. I have been fairly strict and by the book with the only deviation I can think of being that I occasionally drink 1c. regular green tea instead of decaf in AM. I am a vegetarian and have been for years so I've been eating lots of brown rice and beans, lentils, veggies, etc. as well as fresh fruit and nuts. I do also have a hard time getting down 6-8 cups of H2O in addition to the tea and fruit, etc.

I thought I'd try the UMD not to lose weight but to reduce my migraines. My only know food migraine trigger is MSG but I thought this diet might help reduce my migraines because I've had food allergies diagnosed from childhood. Unfortunately, my migraines have not improved at all thus far. How long should it take to see some benefit? Even during the prep week, I cut out sugar, alcohol, eggs, dairy, and wheat from Day 1.
